The Buddha taught that a mediator trains himself thinking: "I shall breathe in experiencing the whole body, and I shall breath out experiencing the whole body." This is following meditation
This is the Mindfulness of Breathing. We pay attention to the sensations of the breath through whole body. Our mind follows the sensations of the breath through whole body. We still sense less things in our mind than our normally situation. We will sense:
- Aware breath in and out
- Aware breath is long or short
- Aware breath is cold or warm
- Aware breath’s beginning, the middle and the end of each cycle of in-breathing and out-breathing.
You will be successful in Following Breath Mediation once you feel your mind and breathe are the same.
