传 承 导 师
本焕长老
本焕长老是中国近现代最受尊敬的禅宗高僧之一,为临济宗第四十四代传人。1930年受具足戒后,他前往扬州高旻寺,依止著名禅宗大德来果老和尚参学禅法长达七年。1937年,他以三步一拜的方式朝礼五台山,此后又在五台山多年精进修行。后来,他参学于虚云老和尚座下,并承接虚云老和尚所传临济宗法脉。
1942年起,本焕长老在五台山开始了为期三年的闭关修行,专心精进修持并研习佛教经典。他还曾刺血书写佛经,包括《楞严经》《地藏菩萨本愿经》《金刚经》以及《普贤菩萨行愿品》等,共完成十九卷,以此表达对佛法坚定而深切的信念与修行愿力。
此后,本焕长老先后担任多座重要寺院的住持,包括南华寺、光孝寺、弘法寺和四祖寺等。他一生致力于佛教教育、僧才培养、寺院建设与弘扬佛法,晚年曾任中国佛教协会名誉会长。
本焕长老以一生严谨的修行、慈悲的愿心和对佛法的奉献,留下了深远的精神遗产,也是我们这一传承中重要的传承祖师。
寿冶长老
守冶长老(1907–2001),江苏无锡人,是中国近现代具有重要影响力的佛教高僧,为临济宗第四十四代传人,一生修学华严,奉持《华严经》。
1928年,守冶长老于上海普济寺依德松法师出家,后赴南京宝华山受具足戒,并先后在常州天宁寺、镇江金山寺参学禅法。1939年,他在五台山碧山寺依止广慧老和尚,承接临济宗法脉。
守冶长老十分重视亲身修持,对《华严经》有着深厚的信仰与愿力。他多年精进修学,并曾刺血书写整部《华严经》,以此表达对佛法的至诚信念与坚定愿心。他一生以“华严行者”自居,将华严修持作为自己修行道路的重要核心。
1949年以后,守冶长老先后在香港、越南、东南亚及美国等地弘扬佛法,在海外创办并主持佛教道场,后来担任纽约大乘寺住持,为汉传佛教早期在美国的发展与传播作出了重要贡献。
守冶长老以临济禅宗为法脉根基,以华严修持为一生行持。他一生的修行与弘法事业,也是国际华严会所承续的重要精神传承之一。

密显长老
密贤法师是中国近现代佛教高僧。早年系统修学汉传佛教,后与根造法师一同远赴康区求法,参学藏传佛教诸大德,包括光明金刚洲持明上师与嘉色仁波切等。光明金刚洲持明上师赐予密贤法师法名 Konchok Dargye。
密贤法师在昂藏寺依止甲色仁波切,接受宁玛派大圆满心髓法门的灌顶与完整传承,成为第五十四代传承人。返回上海后,他与根造法师共同创办长乐精舍,弘传宁玛派教法。此后,密贤法师曾任上海佛学院副院长。
1985年,密贤法师与根造法师应邀前往美国及香港,弘法并传授大圆满心髓法门。
密贤法师一生兼学汉传与藏传佛教,重视教理的理解,更强调亲身修持与实证。他为汉藏佛教之间的交流,以及佛法在海外的传播与传承,作出了重要贡献。

Abbot & Buddhist Teacher
Khenpo Ngawang Dorje Lama
Khenpo Ngawang Dorje Lama is a Nepalese Buddhist monk and teacher with nearly three decades of Buddhist study and practice. He received his formal Buddhist education at Ngagyur Nyingma Institute, affiliated with Namdroling Monastery, where he completed advanced studies in Buddhist philosophy and the Nyingma tradition, earning his Master of Buddhist Philosophy in 2012. He was formally awarded the title of Khenpo in 2023.
In 2016, he founded Palyul Theckchen Ling Society in Nepal and has since devoted himself to Buddhist education and the training of young monks. He currently serves as President and Abbot of the Harmony Peace Foundation in Kathmandu, where he oversees monastic education, Buddhist practice, and the development of a new monastery dedicated to the education of future generations of monks.

Nanren Shi
Nanren Shi has devoted much of his life to Buddhist education, practice, and the transmission of traditional Chinese culture. A former Buddhist monk who was ordained for 15 years, he received his formal Buddhist education at The Buddhist Academy of China, where he later taught Buddhist philosophy.
After coming to the United States in 1987, he continued his involvement in Buddhist education and cultural activities while developing his lifelong practice of Chinese calligraphy. His works have been exhibited and collected by Buddhist organizations and communities in the United States and internationally. He also brought a handwritten Song-dynasty edition of the Diamond Sutra associated with Su Shi (Su Dongpo) into publication and distribution in China, helping preserve and share an important expression of Buddhist scripture and traditional Chinese calligraphic culture.

Pingping Victoria HuangVictoria Huang is Co-Founder and Secretary General of the International Hua-Yan Buddhist Federation. Since its founding in 2014, she has played a central role in the Federation’s development, Buddhist education, international exchange, cultural initiatives, and community engagement.
Drawing on decades of Buddhist study and practice, as well as her professional experience in finance and entrepreneurship, Victoria focuses on making Buddhist wisdom accessible and relevant to contemporary life through direct experience and practical application. Her current work centers on Mind Education and Zen Tea Meditation, helping people observe and understand how their minds work and bring greater awareness into everyday life.
She is also the author of several books, including a bilingual Chinese-English plain-language interpretation of the Diamond Sutra, created to help contemporary readers understand the essential meaning of this important Buddhist text in clear and accessible language.
